PRESS OPERATOR

Artscape Creative is looking for an experienced Screen Printing Press Operator to run automatic presses and produce quality custom apparel. We need someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and keeps production moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic screen printing presses, including our ROQ automatics.

• Register multicolor designs and adjust print settings for consistent results.
• Review work orders for garment details, ink colors, print locations, and quantities.
• Check test prints and monitor quality throughout each run.
• Identify and resolve registration, ink coverage, and other printing issues.
• Monitor dryer settings and verify proper ink curing.
• Coordinate with production assistants to maintain accurate counts and organized orders.
• Perform routine press cleaning and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous screen printing press operation experience required.
• Automatic press experience preferred; ROQ experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of registration, mesh counts, squeegees, inks, and curing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
