Production Assistant

Artscape Creative is looking for a dependable, hands-on Screen Printing Production Assistant to help keep our apparel production running smoothly. You’ll work alongside our press operators, prepare garments, check print quality, and organize finished orders. This is a great opportunity to learn the screen printing process and grow with our team.

Responsibilities

• Unpack, count, and sort garments by style, color, and size.
• Check incoming garments against work orders and report shortages or damage.
• Assist press operators with garment preparation and production tasks.
• Catch garments coming off the dryer and inspect print quality.
• Fold, count, label, and box completed orders accurately.
• Help prepare, clean, and reclaim screens.
• Keep production areas, tools, and supplies clean and organized.
• Follow work orders, safety procedures, and production schedules.
• Assist with other shop tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate counting skills.
• Able to follow instructions and communicate clearly.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodation.
• Screen printing or apparel production experience is helpful, but not required. We can train the right person.
